Idgaf about ur opinions im stating facts. If controller was that OP don't u think he would have fried with a controller if its like aimbot? He was looking like a sub 1 kd player. He played on console for a promotion and he shitt the bed hard. Imagine that your friend gets a new, golden Ferrari just because he is a worse driver. Just my opinion, either make something accessible to everyone or don't allow it at all - I would then call it fair. The fact that cheats are worse is another story though. When you next wonder why people do that, here is your answer - they also want to have at least equal chances. The aim assist is doing literally what PC players have when they are using cheats. I am curious, how big percentage of cheater reports that Activision receives are actually controller players.
I just die quicker and more often and I therefore cannot practice my aim to get better. But I cannot turn aim assist on to help me compensate for my lack of skill. I am not as good as those PC players on those YT clips, I don't follow targets well when they are jumping and dodging bullets. Instead you just turn on aim assist that tracks enemies for you and you all you have to do is hold the trigger and maybe learn the recoil patter which tbf is not even worth mentioning here. You either practice to get better or play something else. Imagine you play on console without aim assist and you are not doing good. You could argue that it is harder to aim on console but this is not true - it is all just practice. I don't get compensated for playing on PC.
